Family Support is the support of families with a member with a disability, which may include a child, an adult, or even the parent in the family. Family support includes “unpaid” or “informal” support by neighbours, families and friends. Families that are trying to live in stable lives come to non-profit organizations for hope of a better future. Child and family services cater to many different types of people who are all in different situations. These services might be mandated through the courts via a governmental child protection agency or they might be voluntary.

At International Human Rights Council of India, we work synchronously for our family member satisfaction as we know very well that if a family member is in treatment, it is very difficult for the entire member who is involved with it. It often arise a difficult situation to make the right decisions when it comes to helping that family member during and post treatment.
